There's nothing better than a trio in concert! Well, there is perhaps one thing – two trios in concert. Potch Trio and Trio Joie de Vivre join forces to bring you a marvellous concert that will have you on the edge of your seat. You can hear the two trios perform separately in the first part of the programme. Potch Trio will perform the colourful and dancing Trio on Irish Folk Tunes by the Swiss composer Frank Martin. Trio Joie de Vivre will perform a suite from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess – Summertime will, of course, be on the menu. For the concert's second part, the two groups will combine to play Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances. This is one of the composer's most beloved works – let the rich harmonies and beautiful melodies wash over you!
