Lebone II - College of the Royal Bafokeng brings you a modern twist on the beloved fairy tales you thought you knew. This epic musical saga about daring to venture Into The Woods showcases iconic characters, such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel, who find their fates intertwined with a humble baker and his wife, whose longing for a child sends them on a quest to reverse a witch’s curse.


The musical boasts music and lyrics by respected theatre composer of the last 60 years, Stephen Sondheim, and a book by his frequent collaborator, James Lapine. Performed by Lebone II’s College’s talented cast, Into The Woods takes everyone's favorite storybook characters and brings them together for a timeless, yet relevant, production that is both enchanting and touching. This spellbinding adventure is everything you could ever wish for!


THE AMPHITHEATRE

The Amphitheatre, at the heart of the Lebone II - College of the Royal Bafokeng campus, is the school's main gathering space; a place where we engage, share and enjoy each other's company. The Amphitheatre seats 1600 people and over the past few years has hosted a number of productions and music events to great success.

FOOD | DRINK

A food and beverage stall will be open from 17h00 to purchase light meals, drinks and snacks.
Strictly no alcohol is permitted.

Please be aware of the following information ahead of the evening:
  • Gates will open at 17h00. Gates close at 19h00 and no late arrivals will be admitted.
  • Into The Woods will start at 19h00. Please ensure you are seated by 18h30 - no late arrivals will be allowed entry once the production has started.
  • NO TICKET, NO ENTRY! Each person is required to have a ticket; this includes children of all ages.
  • Tickets will be checked at the entrance gates and each person in the car must have a ticket. Tickets will be scanned at the venue entrance.You will be guided to parking depending on your ticket. 
  • Bags will be searched on entrance to maintain security.
  • STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING IS PERMITTED.
  • All guests are required to be in the venue and seated by 18:30. No late arrivals will be permitted.
  • There will be no numbered seating. Seating can be taken on a first come/first served basis. 
  • In the event of emergencies or bad weather, the show will be postponed.
  • Food and soft drinks will be on sale - no external food or drink may be brought into the venue.
  • We remind guests to bring blankets and cushions to sit on and wrap around themselves as the evening wears on. No chairs may be brought into the venue.
