Santa's Grotto at Tyger Valley Centre

Santa’s Grotto at Tyger Valley is the perfect place for your little one to get their festive feels going, and give you some shopping time!

Each session is 45 minutes long and includes the below:

• Krispy Kreme Doughnut Decorating Zone
• Festive Face Painting
• Musical show by our festive elves
• A free festive hat for every child who enters 

Plus you get to meet Father Christmas in our

Santa's Grotto. 

10h00 – 19h00: Each session is 45 minutes. (Last session at 18h00)

R100 per child: (Ages 2 to 12)

Venue: Next door to Burger King (Lower level, food court)

Please note this cost of entry does not include a photo with Santa, this will be an additional cost and paid via Snapscan or card

at the door. 

Please note this is NOT a drop and go and parents are welcome to sit and wait in our parents seating area. Coffee shops

are nearby and we recommend grabbing a coffee and having some well-deserved time off, while the kids have a blast!

Registration system

Step 1

 On arrival parents will register their child electronically on our registration ipad, we will require a parents name ,emergency contact, child name and age as well as an electronic signature agreeing to our indemnity. We suggest arriving slightly earlier for this process to be completed. 

** Please note regardless of whether you have booked online on Quicket or at the door you will need to follow this process. 

Step 2

Each registered child will receive an armband with a number allocated to them, a parent/guardian of that child will receive a matching arm band with matching number.

Step 3

Santa's Grotto is strictly not a drop and go activation and there is a lovely area inside the same store as the grotto for parents to view their children at all times.

Step 4 

When the children are completed with their activities our elves will match up the parents to the child to ensure all children leave with their parents.

Extra note for Photos with Santa:

Photos with Santa takes place inside the grotto and you can meet Santa and get an instant print with him straight after your grotto session. Tickets can be bought at the ticket booth at the grotto. R40 for one print, R70 for two. 

Photos with Santa is for ANY age and you can visit Santa for a photo even if you have not purchased a Grotto ticket.

Ingredients for Doughnuts : Please note they are Halaal.

DOUGHNUT – Wheat Flour (Gluten), Water, Palm Oil, Yeast, Salt, Emulsifier, Sugar, Dried Egg Yolk Powder, Skimmed Milk Powder, Preservative (Calcium Propionate), Stabiliser, Firming Agent, Flavouring, Acidity Regulator: Flour Treatment Agent, Enzme: Anti-caking Agent.

GLAZE – Sugar, Water, Anti-caking Agent, Agar, Dextrose, Locust Bean Gum, Disodium Phosphate, Flavouring: Vanilla, Salt.

ICING – Sugar, Water, Dried Glucose Syrup, Cocoa Powder, Vegetable Oil, Palm Shortening, Emulsifier, Colourants.

SPRINKLES – Sugar, starch, Colourants, Vegetable Fat.
