This unique pick ‘ n plant bonsai workshop gives you the opportunity to choose an established Spekboom bonsai to repot. You’ll learn how to choose its front, pick a pot and learn how to repot it, trim it and take care of it with expert guidance and all equipment included:
- 2 hour workshop
- Use of tools
- Guidebook
- Ceramic glazed Bonsai pot
- Mature Bonsai stock
- Replanting soil, mesh and binding wire
Spekboom are a proudly South African plant and respond to the art of Bonsai in unique way. You’ll learn about this indigenous style of bonsai and how to nurture it while creating something you can instantly put out on proud display in your home. Our Workshops are held in the garden of the beautiful Courtyard 53 where you can stroll under the trees, enjoy the shops and market vendors, have a coffee all before spending the afternoon in the best way - doing something fun and creative!
When deciding what size Bonsai you want, use the following measurements ( in mm) :
Small (150mm wide x 175mm high)
Medium (200mm wide x 210mm high)
