More often than we would like to admit, we tend to mask chronic stress and other unhealthy psychological states, with equally unhealthy coping mechanisms - a glass or three of wine at the end of another long workday to take the edge off, waking up at 5am to make sure that you get the jump on replying to the late night emails and taking generally care of business on your way to the top ??

We are not just talking about superficial self-care (although who doesn't love a good #treatyoself splurge!), we are talking about really taking care of yourself. Listening to your mind and your body and cultivating a true sense of awareness.
