The Durban tradition of adult panto continues to flourish. This year sees the ONOMO Hotel hosting the event with also 3 performances at The Warehouse Westville. Be ready to be thrilled by the brand new twist in the tale of a well-loved story.

“The time has come for a return to double entendre and innuendo (the Italian for suppository!!), the best medicine in hilarious South Africa,” says the adult panto team.

It is an accepted fact that Cinderella is the world’s most favourite pantomime. There have been several incarnations of the adult version, Sinderella. But don’t panic… there is a new version, filled with clever quips to keep you on the edge of your seat… as well as just a few below the belt jokes.

Harking back to the original format of clever, rather than in your face, your favourite festive season entertainers have come up with a new plot. Gone is Cinderella/Sinderella, Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother;

Enter Sinder-Fella…!

This year sees some superb talent. Darren King joins Thomie Holtzhausen as the two Ugly Sisters; Cara Roberts (always so much energy) is playing Velcro; and the gorgeous Sphindile Khuzwayo (last year’s Little Red) is Pandora Hugetitt, the daughter of a well-known Ballito sugar baron. Joining them again this year is South Africa's theatre sensation Bryan Hiles in the title role. The show has been written and directed by Darren King.

Sinder-Fella opens at The Warehouse Westville on December 18 until December 20 and then runs until December 30 at the ONOMO Hotel. Seating is at tables of 4/6 or 8. Ask about meal specials. Corporate block bookings/ office parties set-up available. Good ol’ festive season fun!
