ABOUT

Dear parents and guardians

Join us as we showcase our magnificent artwork of our students, from the littlest children in Pre-school to the Matric students. The Pre-primary grades have been hard at work and each have contributed to one piece of artwork which will be auctioned. The exhibition will start in the Pre-primary school foyer at 16:30 and the auction will follow at 17:00. Be there to make sure you get your bid in!

Artwork from our Three2Six students will be on display along the main corridor. Walk through the main foyer of the High school, where you will be treated to the entries in the High school Art competition.

More displays of artwork will be displayed in the Art and Drama rooms of the High School. Walk through the exhibition in the hall which will also include an exhibition from the Grade 10 History students titled, “Sacred Heart College - leading the way? Activism at Sacred Heart in a socio-political context.”

The exhibition will be opened at 18:00 by Arisha Maharaj who is an Art specialist at Strauss and Co. Arisha has been on the selection committees of the Turbine Art Fair and Cassirer Welz Awards for the past 2 years. She will also judge the Art competition.

Stay on after the guest speaker and enjoy musical entertainment by the High School marimba band, choir, ensembles and soloists.

To facilitate catering, please book your tickets (R50 each) for the evening at this link, https://qkt.io/24QWa8 (includes cheese and wine for the parents).  There is no cost for children. Food, drinks and snacks will be sold.

Looking forward to seeing all our SHC families.
