Otherwise Comedy Nights is a Premium Stand-up Comedy showcase in the heart of the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. Featuring the finest stand-up comedians from across South Africa and the world, hosted at a premium restaurant and cocktail bar Sí Cantina Sociale, in the famous Silo District of the Waterfront. The show is on a run of 9 consecutive SOLD OUT shows, this is one you don't want to miss!
The line-up this month features two of South Africa's hard hitting headliners, Robby Collins, originally from Durban, is an Emmy-nominated stand-up comedian and writer having opened for both Trevor Noah and Dave Chappelle. Robby is recently back in the country having spent 3 months performing stand-up comedy in New York. The second of our headliners, KG Mokgadi, is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian, writer and actor, having recently won a SAFTA. Your host is none other than our very own Vafa Naraghi, an influential rising star (@vafafrica) in the South African comedy scene based in Cape Town. Vafa has recently come off a European tour of his debut stand-up comedy one-man show The Prince of South Africa. As usual we may have some blazing surprise acts on the evening, you just never know who will show up! This is guaranteed to be a killer night of entertainment!
