From only 4 students, the academy has rolled out this program to many children since its humble beginnings in the backyard of one of the founder's homes.

The academy relies solely on donations and fundraising that goes to the stipend payment of teachers. The executive Committee members are all volunteers. They are responsible for the implementation of the curriculum and see to the daily activities of the academy

For many cultures, music is a primary form of expression. It serves as an outlet for struggles with identity, relationships, and even poverty. Since music encapsulates various elements of culture, it is essential for heritage preservation and for awareness about the adversity that the respective cultures face. Music is a universal language, capable of reaching out and touching the hearts of any listener. This includes children, who are extremely receptive to music and are capable of learning about its benefits and values.

Music ignites all areas of childhood development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, socioeconomic, motor, language and overall literacy.

We monitor the student progress by implementing accredited examinations facilitated by The Trinity College of Music. These credits obtained, holds merit when applying to a tertiary institution.

Any donations will go a long way toward the purchasing of instruments and the day to day expenses incurred.
