What is a Schultüte?

It is a German tradition that school children get sweetened up on their first day in school by a sugar cone, a so-called "Schultüte". It is made of cardboard, felt, fabric, and the like. It is filled with sweets and stationery.

Not all mums and dads are crafty, so please allow me to help you with the arts & crafts section. You will get the cone, enough cardboard, etc., to create your desired design.

Once you are done, all you have to do is fill up the cone with whatever your child desires.

Please book via Quicket if you want to attend the workshop and make the Schultüte yourself. These are the dates that you can choose from:

Please book only via the online shop if you want a ready-made, customised, bespoke Schultüte.

The ticket you buy entitles you to attendance at one of the four workshop days. Each workshop caters for a maximum of 4 people. No minimum attendance is required!

The workshop will happen in a private home (not a public space). We will make sure to take care of enough air circulation and space.

If you nevertheless can't make it on your booked date:

Option 1) we'll move the ticket to a different date.

Option 2) we'll provide all the material and a tutorial on how to do the required Schultüte at the same price.

Option 3) I can make a Schultüte for you. The paid fee can be used towards a product of your choice on the Schultüten online shop: Once you have chosen all the necessary details, the workshop fee will be taken into account, and only the difference has to be paid.
