Johannesburg born Megan went to school in Pretoria and moved to Vienna in 2009 where she completed her singing studies with distinction. She is a well established singer, internationally and in Vienna, especially prominent in the fields of Baroque music, oratories and the Viennese classic. She excelled as Costanza in Haydn’s “L’ isola disabitata” judged to be a ‘star’ and ’ excellent’, won critical acclaim for various Mozart roles and appeared last time in South Africa 2019 at the Rand Club “Musica Austria gloriosa” and Monte Casino “Opera jewels” concerts last one together with star tenor Levy Segkapane . She now returns to Cape Town and Johannesburg as Cherubino in Mozart’s “The marriage of Figaro” under the direction of Magdalene Minnaar/Cape Town Opera.
