We have decided to raise awareness against Gender Based violence(GBV) on National women's day because GBV is all about an individual harming another individual based on their gender. 

According to UNHCR (2021), gender based violence is a very serious violation of human rights and life and threatening issue.

According to (WHO) world health organization (2021), 

1 in 3 women become physically or sexually abused. This is around 736 million women who are abused.Therefore we will raise awareness so that women can become emancipated and independent.
