This is a “must attend” event during the Calitzdorp Succulent Festival. You will have the chance to meet and mix with succulent experts from all over South Africa, enjoy a wonderful dinner prepared and served by the women of Calitzdorp's NG Church and enjoy a talk by Captain Karel du Toit, commander of SAPS Namakwa Stock Theft and Endangered Species Unit speaking on his valuable function as the top cop pursuing poachers of succulent plants in Namakwaland. Captain du Toit is the owner/operator of Pillansii Tours in Springbok and will be leading succulent pant tours exclusively in the near future.
It is planned that Karel's talk will be broadcast on the internet by the Cactus & Succulent Society of America via their twice monthly webinars about all things succulent.
