He sits on a train station platform. His mind is racing and he fidgets with a folded note in his palm. He is waiting for the train. He paces the platform, pausing for brief moments to reflect on the words written on the note. He is waiting for the train. He reads the note again and again, an action that appears to cause him despair while simultaneously reassuring him. He is waiting for the train. He hears an oncoming train and moves closer to the platform edge… She enters.
