Nomveliso Mzimba

Nomveliso Mzimba has lived in the Cape Town informal township of Masiphumelele for two decades. She shares a small shack with her family members Anele, Asavela, Yaka and Senzokuhle.

Masiphumelele has seasonal fires that ravage the township. Over the years Nomveliso has lost everything she owns to these fires and has had to rebuild her shack countless times.

We have started this fundraiser to raise money to buy her a house, to free her from this endless cycle of burning and rebuilding.
