The start of the new year brings out a lot of conversation about goal setting and reflecting on the previous year. One of my favourite ways to make this reflections is by creating my vision board. I love vision boards because they are a totally creative way to have this conversation with myself about setting goals and reflecting on what my dream life will look like.
Creating a vision board is not about slapping a bunch of pictures on a poster or just a mere cut and paste and hoping for a miracle to make those dreams come true. You have to be intentional about it. You need to truly understand the meaning and purpose behind it and cultivate a positive mindset. The pictures and words that you choose to use must be done so with intention, understanding and willingness to put in the work in order for the vision board to work.
