Hear ye, hear ye!

The next session of Afribeat Congress has been called to session for the 10th of December at Love Thy Neighbour on Bree Street. After a prolonged recess thanks to Covid, we have dusted off our records, dancing shoes, and USB sticks, we will be finally returning to session. 

Afribeat Congress is a night with one goal: To create a space in the heart of the city to celebrate music from across the African continent.

For the next session, our two residents Calabashi (Danielsun) and Shoemaker will hold things down most of the night but have asked Atiyyah Khan aka El Corazon (Future Nostalgia) to join them in sharing music from all across Africa. 

For those who don’t know record collector, archivist, event curator, and arts journalist Atiyyah Khan, you will be in for a pleasant surprise.
