Brazilian Violin Collective Live at La Maison

ABOUT

The Brazilian Violin Collective began as a doctoral recital at New England Conservatory where Elinor Speirs brought together some of the best Brazilian jazz musicians in Boston. Over time the group has streamlined and evolved to include incredible Brazilian jazz players from both Boston and New York City. Brazilian Violin Collective has had the pleasure of performing at Arts at the Armory as part of the Journeys in Sound series, in Medford as part of the Concerts at First Baptist Church series and at St. Botoph’s Club, Boston. BVC is excited to announce that it will be performing and recording a series of concerts of original works and arrangements with the award-winning string quartet Cuatro Puntas in Connecticut early next year.
