Peaks and Pools Hike at Cape Point

Sun Nov 14, 08:30 - Sun Nov 14, 13:00

Cape of Good Hope - Main Gate

ABOUT

Join us on a guided hike at the Cape of Good Hope where we do a gentle circular route up to Kanonkop affording lovely coastal views whilst hiking through beautiful old fynbos where we hope to find some special species in bloom!

The area is rich in history too and along the way we’ll see the canon which gives this peak its name, touch in at an old lime kiln and pass nearby the Da Gama Monument among much more. There’s always the chance of spotting wildlife down here such as Klipspringers, Chacma Baboons or Eland and the birdlife is rich along the coastline which we'll walk too. We finish up at one of the tidal pools for an opportunity to have a post-hike swim!
