We are Excited to Announce our next Elevate Session happening on the 24th of October, 2021. Our Guest Speaker is Hajji Aga Sekalala Jr, Executive Director, Ugachick Poultry Breeders Limited.
Aga is a serial entrepreneur with multiple interests in Agro-Business , Media, Real-estate, Entertainment , Hospitality and Finance. A renowned Student , Practitioner and consultant in starting, developing, and Maintaining Family Businesses, Aga has been at the helm of a successful Business Empire whilst helping Countless companies navigate the complex tapestry of Legacy and family business through sharing his Knowledge and wealth of experience.
Aga is a Chemical Engineer, a graduate of the University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, United States.
Aga will also share on His Governance Role as he has over 20 years combined experience of service as a Board Chairman and Board-Member of multiple institutions including:
KCB bank Uganda, Uganda Manufacturers Association, Uganda Export Promotions Board, Uganda Investment Authority, Uganda Management Institute (UMI), and the Broadcasting Council, in addition to the businesses which he founded.
He is passionate about new ways of doing business and has been part of the commencement and financing of over 16 startups in the country.
Away from Business life Eng. Aga Sekalala Jr is a proud father of four sons, fitness fanatic, Avid Chelsea FC Fan, Student Pilot, Bird-watcher, and avid Reader.
