A shout out to all Royal Enfield riders to gear up for the 10th edition of the ONE RIDE.
Across the world Enfield enthusiasts have come together every year to mark the day as ONE with their motorcycles. In 2021, a world greatly changed, a world that needs each one of us to be more mindful, we are shifting gears with your support to ride to Leave Every Place Better.

We meet at 8.00am at the old CMC club in Germiston, this is where RE started in South Africa after all. After a warm welcome and a briefing on the route, all registered riders will receive their Royal Enfield ONE RIDE Kit.
At 8.30am we head off via the R103 with open farm fields along the way to Heidelberg, a Town established in 1890. On our way to Heidelberg, we make a 30min detour for a historic stop at a prison (around 10am) that was built in 1888 before we stop off at another historical national monument. (There is a R10 cover charge per person for the jail which goes towards the upkeep of the old jail). Once we arrive in Heidelberg, we will pull off at the heritage museum for a late breakfast stop (around 11am) and coffee on pay-as -you-go basis.
This is where the ride officially ends. From here you one can either make your way back the same way you came or Wynand will be happy to recommend alternative routes that run on the south of the Suikerbosrand reserve ( the largest reserve in Gauteng) with the chance of seeing small game roam free.
