ABOUT

For many parents as they approach homeschooling through the high school years, they tend to become anxious about their child's school leaving route and tertiary study options.

Some parents also feel that for their children to have a future chance at applying to university it is better for them to go to school for their high school years.

Others are concerned about their ability to teach high school subjects, particularly the sciences and mathematics courses.

Join us to set your heart and mind at ease about homeschooling your high schoolers and helping them to launch successfully into their adult lives.

We will discuss:

  • Various styles of home education for the high school years - eclectic, Cambridge and GED.
  • Options for entrepreneurship
  • Dealing with kids who don't have goals and direction
  • How tutors can help
  • Best curriculum for the high school years
  • Applying to university and colleges

We will also, as normal, offer encouragement from our own lives and having 10 children between us - and 6 homeschool grads, 3 who have completed their tertiary studies and are employed in their fields.

As always, there will be plenty of time for Q & A
