ABOUT
The Flower Hunters is series of narrative sketches that take a tentative and self-effacing look at how seedling-humans dream, flourish and fail in the strange ecosystem of modern life. Cobbled together out of tape, menstrual blood, googly eyes and experimental texts, the scenes traverse adolescent youtube channels, Claremont-boy couches, ad hoc nature documentaries, black linoleum audition rooms and the great fenced-in outdoors into the not-so-great beyond. For anyone who finds that they have a strained relationship with their teenage self’s expectations, we hope this resonates.
