JAMEY COETZEE SA U23 NATIONAL TUG OF WAR TEAM TOUR

About

I am Jamey, a 18 year old 1st year law student at the University of Western Cape, Cape Town.

My Tug of War journey began in 2012 as a barefoot puller at the Westcliff Bulldogs Club.

In 2016 we won our first SA title and in 2017 I started as a 13 year old boots puller.

During the 2018 Tug of War world Championships held in Campsbay, South Africa I had the honour of

participating in 2 categories in the open division where we won a bronze medal and a 4th place. In 2019 I was included

in a team that took part in Malaysia where we won all our categories for indoor and outdoor tug of war.

All this preparing me for the honour of wearing the green and gold.

My team and I are now on our way to Netherlands for the 2022 Outdoor World Tug of War Championships in Holten during September.

The cost of this tour is approximately R35000 per athlete

Please help me make this possible by making a small donation towards getting us there and giving us the opportunity

to possibly win a World Championship title.

I thank you in advance for taking the time to learn about our journey.
