The Athletic Club & Social presents Odwa Bongo with his 5 piece Band.

Odwa Bongo is a special and well respected artist in the music scene of Cape Town, known for his unique African vocal range/ style and for playing the uHadi musical bow. His musical inspiration comes from Madosini, Simphiwe Dana and traditional songs of the Xhosa people. Although his music has a strong African foundation, he will unexpectedly surprise you with classical and Jazz elements.

His talent has seen him share the stage with Zolani Mahola, Madala Kunene, Madosini, Luyolo Lenga Morena Leraba, Camagwini and other local stars stars including Thandeka Mfinyongo and Sky Dladla.

We invite you to please join us as as we experience Odwa Bongo celebrate the uHadi bow music and share his story through his own compositions.
