Inspired by a love for food and the silliness of life, The Raptor Room is a home away from home in the heart of Cape Town. Upon entering the space, you are greeted with posters from the protest against gender-based violence, where thousands of people took to the streets of Cape Town on 5 September 2019 to voice their anger over the violent murders of women and children.

Our zero-tolerance policy for harassment has made us a safe space for all. 

The Raptor Room was created to be a space where the LGBTQ+ community could feel free and comfortable to be themselves and be accepted. All are welcome here!
