Leveraging Computer Literacy for Youth Future

I was once in a predicament where I didnt have matric and had completely no computer knowledge, which is the backbone of iving in the world we are in. My matric correspondence, up to becoming the IT professional and certified business analyst I am today, was the help of well wishers in financing my studies and voluntary tutoring. At the church I attend there is a lot of youth and I thought I could help by creating a programme to help them in their homework and using my now defunct laptop and projector to teach them computer skills. What started as a small thing has now attracted more than fifty, and counting, both old and youth from around the communities. I have seen this this as reason enough to look for funding for buying necessary equipment like laptops, projectors, tables, wi-fi, etc, inorder to setup a proper mini training environment to get the programme off the ground.
