Cedar, a tree of beauty and grace, strong and durable. From root to tip this tree blooms all year round. A glorious creation never ceasing to bring forth it's sweet scent and vibrant colours. No matter the conditions, it's an evergreen. This concept is what we build our festival around. The cedar tree is a significant part of the origin of the Cederberg mountain range. Cedar festival helps provide jobs and infrastructure for the local farms and farm workers, while creating an ongoing relationship to help better their livelihoods.
