Fantastic Mr. Fox - Roald Dahl

Sun Nov 29, 09:30 - Wed Dec 23, 10:30

National Children's Theatre

ABOUT

Mr Fox needs chickens to feed his family - but when he steals one too many, three farmers: Boggis, Bunce and Bean (one fat, one short, one lean), and just about the meanest men you will ever encounter, decide the only cure is to rid themselves of Mr Fox by any means possible. They are ready to shoot him, starve him or dig him out, but clever Mr. Fox has other plans.

Outwitted at every turn, the farmers' ploys backfire as Fantastic Mr. Fox devises a plan which will ensure full stomachs for not only his family, but for all his friends, who celebrate with a sumptuous feast at the farmers’ expense.

This hilarious tale of ingenuity and trickery by Roald Dahl, adapted for the stage by David Wood and directed by Daniel Geddes, is a treat for young and old alike. And features a stellar cast, eager to please audiences after the theatre’s long absence in 2020.

The show is being presented at National Children’s Theatre’s new outdoor theatre with all Covid19 protocols observed.
