ABOUT

The Phoenix Empowering team invites you to the last event of the year - 'Craft our Next Normal' Year End Lunch.

“The Next Normal” is a term coined by McKinsey. It is based on the assumption that there is a before and after; the period before COVID-19 and the new normal that will emerge in the post-viral era: the next normal. Its a time where one Rethinks and Rebuilds thus the event will look to celebrate our collective achievements and allow us to share/express gratitude for 2020 despite it being a difficult year for many. We will have the opportunity to also look forward with expectation into 2021.

  • Date : 12th Dec 2020
  • Time : 12h00 noon - 3pm
  • Venue : Zu Zanna's Deli, Midrand
  • Ticket Prices : ZAR 275 single ticket and discount for multiple tickets purchased
  • Lunch and refreshments will be served. Alcoholic beverages will be on the menu hence we encourage drinking responsibly and no driving under the influence. Please make alternative travel arrangements such as Uber or be picked up etc.

Speakers:

  • Rebecca Kanoerera

Rebecca Kanoerera; host of RebeccaTalks Show, an associate of Crystal Consulting and the Networking Company, with over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, working for multiple organizations including the likes of EDS and IBM while holding management and senior leadership positions

  • Tash Badenhorst

Natassia Badenhorst for almost 2 decades has worked across brands like HP, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, Phillips, Accenture and many others. She is a crafts-woman of storytelling, brand development and communications. Having faced retrenchment recently, Tash had to craft a new normal in abnormal times. A working mom, a fitness-focused- health- conscious ‘OCDer’ she has led a drastic change in her health and wellbeing over the last 12 months. Now self-employed, slightly dizzied by the rush of support from her network, she is slowly crafting her next chapter.

RAYS OF HOPE DONATIONS

Phoenix Empowering supports Rays of Hope initiatives and kindly appeal that in this festive season we remember to also extend our help to those less fortunate. As such we would like to support their RoseAct Saturday School kids programme and donate stationery packs as they always try to ensure that all children are equipped for school in the new year and also that they have enough for the Saturday School programme. Please also bring any previously loved and used items of clothing to donate.
