Kanonkop Hike at Cape Point

Mon Nov 9, 08:00 - Mon Nov 9, 12:00

Cape of Good Hope - Main Gate

ABOUT

Join us on a guided hike at the Cape of Good Hope where we focus on spotting beautiful specimens of Disa purpurascens, the "Early Blue Disa"! This small, eye-catching blue-purple flower is of the Orchid Family and blooms in sandy soils during mid spring. Not only will be aiming to see this orchid, but also a number of other spring fynbos blooms while enjoying the lovely scenery that this part of the Cape Peninsula holds. A great post-hike idea is to continue exploring Cape Point: tidal pools, picnic, Cape Point Lighthouses, Funicular...coffee!
