Kalk Bay Mountains Hike

Join us on a guided hike at Silvermine, where we do a circular route through the Kalk Bay Mountains. As the fynbos is still fairly young it'll be looking beautiful when we hike up to Higher Steenberg Peak, and then deeper across the mountains to overlook False Bay. We'll be looking out for a couple fynbos gems which may be in bloom on our visit.

Route: We do a fairly easy route on standard A-grade footpath. This is a fantastic half-day excursion and accommodating for the whole family.

Distance: 10 km

Duration: 4 hrs

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

Grade: A-grade route on standard footpath

Elevation: 330m gain/loss

Cost: R200 per person (*Needs 6 people for the hike to run)

- Good hiking shoes/boots
