Constantiaberg & Elephants Eye Hike
Sat Oct 24, 07:00 - Sat Oct 24, 13:00
Silvermine Dam Car Park
ABOUT
Join us on a guided hike at Silvermine, where we summit the highest peak on the Cape Peninsula south of Table Mountain proper: Constantiaberg. Constantiaberg often gets overlooked as a great hike due to the other-worldly radio mast facility on the summit as well as other surrounding peaks offering 'similar' views - however it offers a LOT. Not only will we summit the peak, visit Elephant's Eye Cave and admire Hout Bay from Blackburn Ravine, but we'll enjoy the beauty of the young fynbos up at Silvermine where there are a few 'specials' in bloom!
Route: We do a moderate to strenuous route on standard A-grade footpath. If the weather allows plan for a refreshing post-hike swim at Silvermine Dam.
