Breathing Training for High Performance
Hey Runners!
We have all heard the saying; ’train high, recover low’. But, unless you have access to the very expensive altitude simulators and a treadmill or are able to head for the hills for weeks at a time, then this saying becomes pretty null and void for us poor Cape Tonians at sea level.
The science has been around for years; how to use breath work to simulate the beneficial effects of high altitude training. It’s become a ‘lost art’ when it comes to training - until now. Stuart Dicke, The Human Movement Coach, has partnered with us to put on a sweet as breath work training over the course of 3 weeks.

Functional Breathing for Functional Movement
- Learn to measure the onset, endurance and upper tolerance of your breathlessness (gives you a really great measure of current state and then how you progress)

- Delay the Onset of Lactic Acid and Fatigue
- Significantly Reduce Exercise Induced Asthma
Oxygen Advantage® Practical Breathing Workout
- Learn to breathe more efficiently during physical exercise with much less breathlessness
- Applying the Oxygen Advantage® on a Daily Basis
*All participants will receive an Athletes manual with all the exercises

For 3 consecutive weeks in November, we will come together as an exclusive group of 12 running fanatics wanting to take their training to the next level. We will learn the art and science of breathing, lead by Certified Oxygen Advantage instructor Stuart Dicke.
