The Gender Bender Show S1E1

Sun Nov 1, 19:00 - Sat Nov 7, 20:30

Event is online

ABOUT

It’s crazy to imagine that it was just 5 years ago when The Gender Bender Show was manifested into reality; all we wanted was as a simple, but safe, space for queer and drag performers to feel included and for a while we were all very successful. That was until the pandemic changed the world, as well as how the entertainment industry will need to operate in order to survive.

After a few months of research, hardcore deliberating and watching how the industry moves across the globe, we’ve all agreed that the only way to survive this is to start creating more digital shows and encouraging artists to keep on doing what they do best - ENTERTAIN! The silver lining through all of this, is the fact that by going digital we get to break through the barriers that prevent us from being able to connect and collaborate with performers; it also helps us create a show that reflects the powerfully diverse world of drag and queer performance art that exists around us all.
