ABOUT

Khumba by Triggerfish Animation was one of South Africa's first full animation releases.

Carina Beukes decided to turn it into a stage show with the permission of the creators of the animated film.

This ambitious project involving some of the wild animals we see in our game reserves was premiered on the stage at The Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre two years ago.

With creative sets and amazing masks sculpted by her husband, Khumba On Stage even ran for a second time in an encore show the following year.
