As the world grapples with diversity and inclusion both on a systemic and personal scale, one of the biggest questions for young black girls is around beauty; who is beautiful and who is not and where do I fit on this scale?

Most girls come to some conclusion about who is beautiful and who is not and these conclusions are informed by a lot of insidiously packaged messages from different platforms.
