Kisasa Brands is bringing back its pop-up tasting experiences called Tastes from Africa, which connects you to selected African made liquor brands.

Each fine dining experience introduces you to a selected brand that is paired with a 4 or 6 course African inspired menu that is designed to compliment the brand.

On Saturday, 4 April 2020, at Edikeni Restaurant we will be hosting a wine tasting with Usana Wines with a designed 4 course menu that is inspired by all 5 African regions.

About the Wine

Usana is a Xhosa word meaning ‘a baby’ or ‘a new beginning’ and represents the start of a new venture for the family owned wine brand.

Usana wines are produced in the beautiful and historic Stellenbosch Wine Region on the Winshaw Family Farm in Klein Welmoed. The brand boasts a portfolio of seven delicious wines, all of which possess their own unique characteristics.

About the Venue

Tucked away in the heart of Africa is a place many leaders call home, a place that evokes a sense of nostalgia like no other, through the warmth of a pan-African social fabric, nourished by the roots of Wellbeing and woven in the spirit of Ubuntu.
