The STEP Program has now closed.

Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP)

The Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP) allows for the secure exchange of tickets between those who wish to sell their tickets and those who are looking for Kiwiburn 2024 - Decadance tickets. If you did not manage to get a ticket for the event, you can join the STEP program waiting list, where you can request up to 2 tickets. Alternatively if you have tickets and would like to sell your tickets, you can enter them into the STEP outbound tickets queue.

Make sure that you have read and understood the below procedure carefully before entering the STEP program.

If your tickets are sold through STEP, you will be refunded their face value.

How to buy tickets

  • To enter the STEP waiting list to get tickets, you will need a Quicket user account.
  • Request up to 2 tickets.
  • If tickets become available by people wishing to sell their tickets, these will be offered to people in the waiting list on a first-come first-served basis, by means of an email notification.
  • If you are at the top of the waiting list and get offered tickets, you will have 24 HOURS in which to buy those tickets. If you fail to complete a purchase in that time, you will be removed from the queue and will have to signup again.
  • Upon successful payment, you will be sent brand new tickets as per normal, and the original tickets that were sold will be cancelled.

How to sell tickets

  • You can select any number of tickets to enter into the STEP outbound tickets waiting list.
  • If your tickets reach the top of the outbound ticket waiting list, they will be offered to the first person in the inbound waiting list.
  • If that person fails to buy them within 24 HOURS, they will be offered to the next person, and so on, until someone buys them.
  • You will be notified when your tickets have been cancelled and refunded.
  • Refunds take place once a week. If all the tickets you entered into the STEP program are sold, you will be refunded on the upcoming refund run. If not, you will be refunded once all the tickets you entered are sold.
  • If you want to remove your ticket from the queue and it has already been allocated to someone you can request that we release the ticket back to you if is is not sold. However we cannot guarentee that it will not be sold.
